Ke ke ke ~
Guess what, humans?
I have a guitar!:DDD[
Lol, if you don't get the joke, it's ok.]
[
Don't strain yourself.]
I went with a friend to get it,
and believe it or not,
I was praying hard [
I'm serious]
that I would see the guitar, and fall in love with it.My budget's $400, and only $500+ if I get a baby Taylor.
My mum was adamant in me not getting a $600 Fender acoustic
[
which I thought was $600 at that time]
[
so don't stone me, you guitar pros.]
[
..Unless you consider yourself a pro at Guitar Hero.]
[
Then I suggest... You start picking up the real thing.]
So I walked into the first shop,
and there were walls of guitars.
I saw the Ibanez acoustics,
[
have always loved Ibanez-s.. The influence of an ex.]
and I saw one, just that one.
And I couldn't help but go
O___O.
Saw the price-tag, which made me go
$__$.
600 bucks, yo.I was quite disappointed.
But I thought to myself..
"Ok, if he picks it up, then MAYBE. I mean, he has to say it's good. Ok..... Let's watch and see."*watches intently*
*friend scrolls through all the guitars as intently as I was watching him*
*PICKS UP THAT GUITAR*
[It was the first!!]OMW.[
= Oh my word]
IT'S THE ONE.
WAIT WAIT, PRICE TAG. PRICE TAG.
$____$
"OK, OK. IF MUM ALLOWS. Oh, what are the chances.."
*calls mum*"Hey ma [trying to sound casual], can I get an Ibanez guitar at $600 please?""Is it good?""Yupp. My friend says so. Y'know you can trust him.""Ok, go ahead.".....WHAT JUST HAPPENED.So I happily asked for it at the counter,
and the dude was like,
"Oh yeah, I'll give you a 20% discount. Ok, pay $420."[So I've kept within the budget.]
O____O
And thinking back, it's more than a 20% discount, ain't it?
[My friend says he thought he heard 40%]
And so,
I can only attribute it to God's blessing.
[
Thank you Jesus!!]
And it has been so lovely.
The name?
Well, I considered it.
For a long time actually,
but I'll just call it
ギター [Gita, or Guitar].
:)Heh.
I know, it sounds like I'm making a big fuss out of nothing.
But it really excites me because
1) It's my first guitar!! :D
[Gonna keep it till the 3rd gen]
["GRANDSON. BURY ME WITH IT. PROMISE ME."]
["FOR THE LAST TIME, MAMAW, OK."]
[Don't ask me why I'm switching to country]
2) I can definitely see God working His hand in everything. :D
3) My friend came all the way down from his place,
[which is VERY FAR, since we live in different countries.]
to help me pick it out.
[Well, he had other things on too.]
[BUT I AM TOUCHED.]Yeah!
And so this is the news I've been dying to tell y'all since last week! :D
But it's been so crazy.
Which brings me to my next point,
it's the last week of training already!
I thought that, to be fair,
I should at least show you guys what I do, where I am and stuff,
minus the humans.
[
Fair enough? :)]
[
Didn't and don't wanna get their permission for pictures.]
[
Too many humans to consult.]
Right,
so I'll post the next one up,
real soon, hopefully! :D
Graduation's on Saturday! And I'll be performing a song on that day!
All glory goes to God. :D

Eh.. It feels so weird now,
because my roommate's reading my blog right beside me.
-awkward-
[It's time to pull out the now-cliche]
['That Awkward Moment When" - A tribute to Ryan Higa]
It's been a week, eh?
The schedules are more or less the same,
but this week's been pretty relaxing.
The highlight of this week tho', is: Rosemir[Roses are meant to be red, sim?]
[pronounced Ho-say-meer, or something like that]
He is the Brazilian dude who's the last edition to my team,
and he's been quite fun to talk to.
[He flew in just yesterday]
I say fun, because all I'm saying,
is really,"perdão?" [pardon]
or "repetir, por favor?" [repeat, please]
and in the end, no matter how many times I say it,
I still can't get what he's saying,
because it's all in portuguese. :|
But I'm getting better at speaking the language, thank God.
Which brings me to the next point.
I don't know if you guys have any difficulty learning two languages at the same time,
but I do.
That's why I remember writing that I'm not bilingual,
and being extremely jealous of my counterparts.
[Some of them are even trilingual! The nerve.]
But recently,
I discovered that I now have four languages.
I don't profess to be scholars in any of them,
and in fact, I'm a babe at three.
[Or, in less nice terms, a nub]
But it does affect the way I think.
It's like a mental war in my mind every day.
For example: [True story]
*truck rushing towards kid*
me: BE CAREFUL!
now..
*impending danger*
me: .........
because what I'm thinking is actually,
[in order]
"危ない!"
"Tsk, it's Jap, wait, this is English, what? WAIT, DANGER!"
But by that time, the danger's either passed/hit someone already,
so I end up not saying anything.
Another example: [True story]
*kid falls down*
*runs to the kid*
me: ............
because what I'm thinking is,
"大丈夫ですか?"
"Wait, the kid can't speak Jap. Crap. Eh.. Let's try again."
"Ah..... What do I say now..."
[I'm aiming for "Are you okay?"]
[Sounds easy? Heh. Stupidity acts in wonderful ways.]
"你还好吧?"
"CRAP, kid doesn't speak Chinese either."
"WHAT IS IT IN ENGLISH. WHAT IS IT"
And by that time, the mum's already run over,
and she's staring at me with eyes that say
"Get away from my child, you paedo"
[Okay, okay. So I exaggerated a lil bit.]
[Mummy was further away and much nicer.]
[But still. Y'know it would happen some day.]
Yeah thanks, mum.I only wanted to help. But it's understandable, because I'm just standing there, gaping at the kid.
I kid you not,
[pun intended]
it's like my brain's only got two settings.
[Fabric and cotton settings, lol!]
[Oh yeah, not even light or heavyweight]
English - Other language
And then it randomly pops up some language,
and blocks out other languages
[unless I think really hard]
[There's usually a 10% chance of succeeding]
and I just stand there wanting to say something, but I don't.
Because I honestly don't know what to say.
Add portuguese into the equation,
and all you get is really confused people
after interacting with me.
And so,
to sum up this entire post,
[I intended to write longer]
[But blame my roommate]
[We were reliving my memories in Cotswolds, London]
[WOOHOO, ENGLAND]
[I just had to do it.]
[
Disclaimer in advance: Not stereotyping Germans. If you game, you'll know what I mean, lol!]
what I'm trying to say is,in actuality...I'm a nub.
Or maybe I'm more of a nubcake.
Heck. Let's just go German female gamers trying to be cute when they aren't.
