Gotta be up in a few hours for the first church service of 2012! :)
Oh, and my grandmama's birthday party.
Busy busy busy. :|

What I've been doing recently:
1) Parties
2) Which results in me = Sick
3) So I'm at home, ∴ Lots of TV
A) Jade Heart Lock Palace [宫-锁心玉]Credits to swtaznlaydee of http://www.spcnet.tv[You don't need to see the rest of the cast, just two of the most talented artistes in China!]
A 21st century girl travels back in time to the Qing dynasty in China. It's really good. O__O
[And NO SUBTITLES. I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF. (There are subtitles on Youtube) ]
[Oh, and I also commit emotional suicide every time the guy dressed in purple (above, 8th Prince) sacrifices his life for the girl.]
B) Kitchen NightmaresCredits to http://tvlistings.zap2it.com/tv/ramsays-kitchen-nightmares/EP00702992 It's Gordon Ramsay. 'Nuff said.
C) Oh, and I caught Sherlock Holmes 2! :DCredits to http://screenrant.com/sherlock-holmes-2-trailer-sandy-123096/ Sherlock Holmes 2 was pure genius.Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law complemented each other so well..
[Jude made an excellent Watson. He has redefined Watson!]
I can't explain how awesome it was, so you guys will just have to see it yourselves.
[Oh yeah, that's right, all you cheapos out there, R.D Jr's gonna earn your money.]
Having watched it once tho', Imma be watching it again. This time.. With subtitles.
I can't catch the full essence of it without the subs, y'know?
[And I'm wondering how movie-goers in countries that haven't English as their first language gonna manage on this one.]
[Disclaimer: Not generalizing and saying no one from a country like that can speak English.]
An after note: I CANNOT recognize Jude Law in his role as Watson at all. What the heck?
4) I read a lot of blogs today and discovered that the Blogger-verse is really big.
And really complicated as well.
I feel like a frog in a well...
Heh, guess I'll just stay in my part of the Blogger-verse.
Online feuds are too two years ago for me. :|
5) Been playing some games on my laptop too
[Did I mention that I got a Mac in Sept?]
and then posting it on BFG.
[Heh, it reminds me of 'Big Friendly Giant' by Roald Dahl.]
[If you didn't get it.. It's Big Fish Games.]
Result: I am now a key contributor.
[I know what it looks like, but I don't play all of the games shown on the front page.]
[Believe me. -___-]
It's no biggie. You get that after three game reviews or so.
But I am also now.. A somewhat skillful but mentally tired player at hidden object games.
Oh, and puzzle games. No, not the Bejeweled kind.. I meant the Sherlock kind.
Congratulations, you have scrolled through two weeks of my life.
I should probably elaborate more on the parties,
but it becomes monotonous after awhile.
Good food, great company and an all-too-late bedtime.
[Which is why I've been ill.]
Point of interest: On Christmas, I went over to my friend's place, and his dad kept offering us drinks. [Yes, the alcoholic kind.][And keep the cops off my door. Everyone who drank was of age.]Funny thing was,we were playing Cluedo, cause we all know that's the best combi with alcohol. After awhile, we were like
'okay... Er.. You don't look right to me. A bit hazy....No, I'm fine. I'm not drunk.'
And then we got bored and stared at the kids playing Halo.It got quite interesting when my friend joined in and raped them. Poor things. And after that, we went back to games, except it was now Taboo. And it got quite hilarious.Word: Lava LampCan't say: Volcanome: Okay, uh.. First word.. It's in Hawaii. It's hot and big.. And it goes..*I just couldn't think of anything else more appropriate* BOOM!!! *hand motions*friend: It's.. A coconut.sis: What on earth? A coconut explodes?me: BOOM?friend who did not drink because he was underaged: LMAO LMAO LMAO ...Literally...Yupp.So I'll update more, hopefully tomorrow..There's a Thanksgiving party on Thursday, net on Friday,Watchnight on Saturday, and the first church service of 2012 on Sunday.GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGOh Robert Downey Jr,
won't you be Sherlock Holmes forever?
Sunday, December 18, 2011
Hello hello! :)We meet again.
I just realized the crazy list of things I need to do before Christmas. Q___Q
[
It's because I kept procrastinating. Pfft.]
Sigh.
There's no going around it, I guess.
Which reminds me,
I made
カスタードプリン, or
Japanese Custard Pudding,
or an easier version of
Leche Flan [
apparently],
last week for some very special people.
[
Cause my family ran off to Langkawi without me for a week -.-]
Get the recipe here! [Click it!]
I know that it looks really 'hole'-y,
[Oh gosh, cut the bad jokes, woman.]
but that was my first attempt.
I am really quite proud of it,
cause at least the caramel didn't turn out black. :D
Anyway,
my family's back
and Ame will be coming to my house on tuesday.
So I be cookin'.
[Cooking must always be in orange for me.]
[Just like Thanksgiving. And Hong Kong.]
Why is Ame coming over?
[Sigh.]
Because our preteens want to bake,
claiming that this is their first time,
and we're gonna be making brownies and muffins.
But since I don't like baking,
I chose to make pudding for her to satisfy my need to cook. -.-
[The urge to cook has never gone away recently, strange.]
[I work in mysterious ways..]
[..Just like your hair conditioner.]
∴ Before tuesday,
I gotta make that, plus try making a Christmas cake,
[I know that I said that I don't like baking.]
[I have my own reasons, and shush you.]
[I like contradicting myself like that.]
go for a medical checkup,
make lots of cards to send to my wonderful friends overseas,
go Christmas shopping,
and MORE! [Not a happy face, :D]
And as you can see,
it is quite impossible.
Do you feel the dread for me already?
No?
Go get a heart, you. :|
Kid.
I'll just do my best,
and you guys do your best too!
Christmas is a busy time for everyone,
but it is definitely one of the best times in a year. :)
I love you Jesus, for creating Christmas.
-warm cups of hot chocolate and happy faces-
Oh. And Starbucks.
Whew! Almost forgot that one.

こんばんわ![
Good evening!]
I flew back from Japan on Sunday,
but you know how
December is synonymous with Christmas, church, winter, parties..
stuff, haha
All that + jet lag
= lack of posts
[The parties haven't actually started yet]
[but planning them takes a lot of effort!]
Please accept my sincerest apologies!!
After my friends flew in,
I toured with them for a bit,
[cause I am a tourist in my own country. Horrible.]
and then it was the Edge Conference 2011,
[which of course you guys have heard ALOT about.]
and on that very night,
I flew straight to Japan.
So.. I didn't have the chance to say goodbye. )':
[Excuses, excuses.]
Anyway,
tomorrow's the 18th,
exactly a week away from Christmas.
And there's this drama production in church.
I was roped in as the projectionist,
[so I display lyrics, things..]
...so that means waking up earlier tomorrow.
Eh, it's fine.
Much better than being on stage and singing,
I'd prefer being alone in the video room and singing. Lol
[I don't really have much to say about this]
[because today was my first time at rehearsals,]
[and it was the final one]
[..So.. I don't actually know what it's about. Q__Q]
Anyway today,
my friends and I decided to head to Quiznos for dinner.
I don't usually mention things like that,
[and I don't really like Quiznos]
but my friend happened to be driving,
[and he just passed his driving test]
and you know that just sets you up for the perfect fail scenes. Lool
Ready?
So after dinner, in the car,
Josh [driver]: Jon, switch on the GPS.
Jon [his younger bro]: Okay. I am now the walking GPS.
*Josh drives out of lot, sees sign to turn right for exit*
Jon: Turn left.
LOL PHAIL GPS ACT #1
At the exit,
Josh: How much do you think the fee is?
Jon: $1.25
*meter shows $2.50*
LOL PHAIL GPS ACT #2
We are now on the highway,
driving, driving...
...Still driving.
..Shouldn't we be there by now?
Ame [another friend]: ..Er.. Why do I get the feeling that we're at ECP?
me: You're right. O__O
Ame: OH MY WORD. WE ARE AT ECP.
[Which is very far from our destination, I must add.]
Josh: WHAT?? WHAT?? Jon, JON, are we at ECP??
Jon: *doesn't look up* Nope.
Josh: Oh, okay.
Ame: WE ARE AT ECP. LOOK!!
Josh: Eh, you're right! What are you doing, Jon?? Jon, check the GPS!
*Josh looks over at Jon*
Josh: Why is there a pool table on the iPhone??
Are you playing pool?? Where's the GPS??
..And then we realized that..
Our walking GPS didn't even turn the program on. -__-
#win
Right. So it's late now.
I be heading to bed.
Eh, before I go,
I wanna ask if it's just me,
or is it that every time one walks past Starbucks,
one smells the Christmas spirit wafting from it.
It's like Santa's living in the Starbucks' kitchen.
[Maybe that's why he's so jollily round.]
