Caution: You will be seeing red after this post!
My jokes are getting worse.
Hey guys!How are you?
This week has just been soo
slackish for me.
Meh,
I think I spent more than
half of my waking hours,
being a couch potato.
[
Or is it potato couch?]
And it was really less of the TV,
more of my Wii.
You see,
I reasoned that once I started working,
[
I got the job! :D]
I wouldn't be able to complete
Harvest Moon.
Disclaimer: Nerd time!!It's just that I want to collect everything I'm supposed to have,
to finish this game once and for all.
As you all know,
[or should know. If you don't, go get yourself a version.]
[You'll know then. You'll know.]
Harvest Moon is a draggy game.
And it's worse when you don't know what you have to do.
[I'm glad I was born a natural at this.]
[Wait.. That didn't sound right.]
Imagine,
next year, I'll be in Brazil.
Which means I can't touch it for an entire year!
Which means that if I don't finish it now,
I'll have to re-touch it again.
[That didn't sound right either..]
So yeah.
Speeding through the game as fast as I can.
[
I'm just giving myself excuses to game.]
∴ Couch potato[
I have made up my mind.]
In other news..
Finally,
the
Dorayaki [どら焼き] that I've promised!

When it's cut in halfWhen they were freshly made,
they were
good.
Again, I used
cookingwithdog's recipe,
except instead of using a griddle,
I just used a non-stick pan.
[
I am not sure if it's the equivalent, but it worked fine.]
There was honey in the recipe,
so the result was sweeter than usual,
but a lot better than the normal kind of pancakes.
[
Cause I know that it looks like 2 pancakes sandwiched with stuffing.]
[
It's not.]
[
It is like pancakes. Not the same, okay?]
As for the stuffing,
a normal Dorayaki has
Anko [あんこ],
which is
red bean paste.
But I couldn't get any pre made ones from
Daiso,
[
Seriously, why did that outlet not have Anko? *frustrates*]
so I just made my own batch of
custard.
[
Which is a lot easier than making Anko from scratch, I guess.]
[
Psst, I'm just lazy!]
I got the custard recipe from the blog..
[Click the link for the exact post!]
Well,
cookingwithdog mentioned that I could freeze and thaw the Dorayaki.
However, the whole thing became dry..
Including the custard.
So I wouldn't recommend it unless it is really necessary.
Now that that is over..
We can talk about next week.
I have mentioned before that I'll be in Kesennuma, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan,
[気仙沼市、宮城県]
from the 10th - 17th October.
Which is next week.
And I have extended it to the 19th,
so that I'll have two more days in Tokyo [東京].
Unfortunately,
I will not be able to bring my DSLR with me.
[I know, I know.]
[Even if I bring it, you don't see the fruits of it right?]
[I can hear you guys complaining already... Oh boy.]
So don't expect pictures..
But other people will be bringing their cameras.
∴ If I can get it, I will.
[No, I haven't forgotten Phuket + Bintan + England yet, okay?]
[They say that women have an elephant memory.]
[Well, it DOES come in handy in times like these.]
[..Just don't bear grudges against me!]
[I couldn't even handle The Grudge, much less a mob of grudges!]
And public baths, or Onsen [温泉] will be scheduled everyday!
So that would be interesting,
because my comrades wouldn't be used to it. Lol
[Note: If you don't know what a public bath looks like,
credits to http://shadowkun.tumblr.com
This is the typical public bath in Japan.
...
OKAY, OKAY. Minus the aliens. Lol]
[The last part of Gintama episode 219, and 220, if you're interested.]
Well,
I'm rambling on and on and on now..
I'm sleepy.
So I'll head to bed now,
and if I can get up early tomorrow..
Maybe I'll ramble more at McD's.
Bye!
