As promised, I'm here! :D
Right,
so I mentioned before that
there were two
weddings I had to attend.
To be honest,
I ended up only going for one,
and that was an eye-opener.
Basically,
it's a
Malay wedding,
and it was my first time attending one,
so that was quite interesting.
The food was good,
the people were friendly,
and dancing was involved.
[
And when there's dancing,
you know it's a parrrtayy!]
No pictures though. :x
The next event that happened after that,
was
the Banquet 2011.
It's basically a
prom-like event for
the youths in my church.
[
Only 18 and up]
The dressing was formal,
and when I arrived,
[
albeit one and half hours late]
everything was
so beautifully done up.
The decorations were
silver, black and cream.
Balloons were dangling from the ceiling,
there was a live band playing
and the attendees!
My, my.
What a handsome lot!
Everyone was dressed to the nines,
even the guys!
There were games,
[
we were grouped according to where we were seated]
and there were awards for Best Dressed etc.
I didn't get any awards,
but that's fine.
Because I had fun!
Highlight of the night:
When friend A showed up in his formal attire,
unintentionally ending up looking like a Chinese triad boss.
What was priceless,
was his attempt at acting like one.
I was gonna take pictures,
but unfortunately my phone camera doesn't make the cut.
So yes, you're left with this:
Excuse the glasses of orange juice.
What? No alcohol?
Yes dears, 18 and up, remember? :D
Tis great to be a law-abiding citizen!
On to the next subject,
I have recently decided that:
1) I am to master the art of speaking like I'm in a period drama.
[E.g I hath taught thou ye olde art of reading!]
2) I am to [also] master the art of using chopsticks properly.
[-___- Srsly, it is not as easy as it looks.
According to my cousin, I have to train up my finger muscles.
So yes, my fingers do push-ups.
Wanna see me flex my finger biceps?]
Cause flexing sounds so hawt like that.

Hello everyone!
How have you been?
Wow,
time sure flies by fast, doesn't it?
[Cancelled a whole bunch of words,
because it sounded so uninteresting.
I guess I've been gone for too long eh?
I now need time to get back into the hang of it.
...Sigh.]
To be honest,
I've been really lazy.
In ALL aspects of life.
So yes, it's not just you I've been neglecting.
However!
I wish to change,
thus
it is never too late, right?
Be magnanimous,
and forgive me, alright?
So updates, updates.
I've actually been given a leadership role in church.
Basically,
I'm supposed to pioneer a cell group,
[
cell group = a group of people who gather weekly for fellowship + church]
and it's haaaaard.
Not that I expected it to be easy,
but it really drains my energy.
However,
the fruits are rewarding,
and on the bright side,
I actually like
yogurt [
ice cream, to be precise] now.
[
Yogurt's one of those things I could never stand.
Just like cheesecakes,
and anything with too much dairy in it.]
Speaking of sugar,
my intake level has been
too high recently.
I kid you not,
I consume sweets everyday.
Ice cream - thrice a week
cakes - twice a week
sweets and chocolates - in between
As much as I should be concerned about the calories,
I'm really more bothered at my sugar levels.
So yes.
I fear for my kidney.
[
It's actually starting to hurt.]
I have a
HUGE sweet tooth, you see.
[
I know that this is completely unrelated,
but the only person I can relate my sweet addiction to,
is this joker over here.

I tried finding a better picture,
but when I keyed in 'sweet tooth' on Google images,
horrifying [can't even begin to describe it] images came out.
So please, I know people will do it just because I said not to,
but don't search it.
DON'T.
Don't say I didn't warn you.]
And I'm telling you this,
because I've been wanting to for quite some time now.
But I just didn't know how to phrase it.
I'm the kind of person who has cravings
all the time.
It used to be really bad.
Like, I would crave for something,
but by the time I've reached the shop,
I would be craving for something else.
But I've mellowed.
And I'm not sure if that's a good thing,
[
28/08: Just realised, why would this be a good thing?
But that's what you get for writing in the wee hours of the morning.]
because it can come on so randomly,
that I would just wake up and scream,"
I NEED SUGAR."
pull on some presentable clothes and run to the nearest 7-11 store,
which is 24/7, thank God.
[
"Doesn't sound like you've mellowed."
I hear you, people. I hear you.]
Don't get me wrong,
it's not just sugar.
But when I eat something,
I consume it
every day for the next two weeks [
at least],
then keep off it for three months.
Unhealthy, I know.
But are you guys like that?
Or
do you know anyone who's like that?
If you do, let me know.
Because it sure would be nice to know that I'm not alone in this..
Anyway,
this post is really long.
So I'll just tell you more tomorrow.
YES. TOMORROW.
It's a miracle!
