Hi guys..
You know how I've been sick for a long time?
Yeah.. Well,
for someone who's sick like me,
it really hits you like a fish to the face.
[Not kidding, it actually hurts.]
Sigh,
there's no other way of saying it but..
I just found out that my friend passed away on Monday.
And she wasn't just any friend..
She was one of my best friends when I was in high school.
Since I found out so late,
it's obvious we drifted apart after,
but still.
It was because of an illness,
which.. reinforces what I said earlier.
I honestly wish that I knew earlier,
so I could visit her in the hospital.
And like many of her friends,
we wished we could have done many things differently,
but the one thing that hit me really bad was..
How I thought I got the same thing [the illness],
and I thank God so much that it's not,
but the fact that I treated it so lightly...
The gift of life is truly precious..I'm sorry guys,
my thoughts are just all over the place.
I've had distant elderly relatives passing away last year,
I don't wanna sound cold or harsh,
but.. I didn't really know them.
But you know, my friend, my
best friend [then],
I
knew her, and she was
young.
I don't know how to proceed with the post,
so I'll just leave you guys here.
